Remote Patrol

A daunting metaphor for mankind’s future on the planet.

As the June sun sets in real time, five insect-like characters realise that the dying of the light will bring an end to the utopia they have been enjoying. A beautiful, image-driven performance poem sets out a daunting metaphor for mankind’s future on the planet.

Remote Patrol was a site-specific promenade performance, presented at the Bath Abbey Cemetery in association with The Rondo Theatre and the Institute of Contemporary Interdisciplinary Arts at the University of Bath.

Remote Patrol was performed in Bath Abbey Cemetary in 2007, and was made possible by support from The Debut Project and the Natural Theatre Company.

“Spectacularly atmospheric. It wasn’t preachy; it dealt primarily in images, leaving you to make what you wanted of them. Magic.”
