Mother Nature’s Supper Club

Mother Nature has called an assembly: representatives of every plant & animal in her care. She has an important question for them to solve: “What are we going to do about the humans?”

This brilliant immersive, participatory show was developed for Forest of Imagination at Bath’s Holburne Museum in 2024 & developed for onward touring

Audiences gather in a woodland clearing to a live soundtrack of birdsong. They are gently enrolled to see the world through the eyes of the species that live there. They sit down to share a meal of nature’s finest ingredients. Finally, the question is posed & the audience is left to come up with an answer.

Audience Feedback

“Mother Nature's Supper Club has absolutely been my favourite Kilter experience… supercharging our nature connection.”

“This is a beautiful piece of theatre - relevant and inspiring.”

“Something completely unexpected, creative, funny and important without being preachy. The characters were gorgeous and beautifully placed.”

“When our world is literally burning and habitat and specimens are in devastating decline we need art that engages us with these issues that is thought provoking and fun. Kilter excels in this kind of engagement.”

“Kilter are real experts at creating a live performance space that leaves room for people to respond- or not- as they feel comfortable. It's such an art. The show itself was gorgeous and poignant.”
