Samba Drumming Workshop
Join us for a toe-tapping Samba drumming workshop.
We begin with a brief introduction to the origins of samba drumming and an opportunity to try out a whole range of percussion instruments and drums.
We'll invent rhythms and set them to words, then use them for fun and games. We play tog, listen to each other and end up sounding like a real samba band!
The focus of the workshop is the enjoyment of playing and working together as a group.

Suitable for all ages & abilities! Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Trish has been running drumming workshops for many years at festivals, schools and clubs. She set up the community band Samba Sulis and firmly believes that creativity and education go hand in hand.

This event is part of Kilter's 5-year Bathscape commission to help local people creatively connect with their beautiful world-heritage landscape throughout the year. The event would normally cost £10+ but thanks to players of The National Lottery we are able to offer it for free!
