Qupid

A short performed love story, followed by a conversation about the future of quantum tech.

Based on distorted logic and terrible scientific inaccuracies, Qupid is a revolutionary new dating service that will change your love life forever.

Love is a fundamental property of the universe but finding someone to love can take a lifetime. Until now.

Qupid is a short, script-in-hand performance piece designed to badly explain quantum entanglement and provoke public engagement in complicated science and tricky ethics that have implications for the future of the world.

Qupid will impress you. Qupid will assure you. Qupid will have you reaching for your credit card.

Whether or not you have ever considered how research about big ideas is used and abused in contemporary society, this event will have you asking all the wrong questions. By attending, you will be contributing to cutting-edge research and forging a ground-breaking relationship between academia and civil society.

After the performance, there will be a Q&A session with artists and researchers, exploring the potential ethical implications of quantum tech, and what this might mean for you, your family, wider society and future generations. We are keen to learn more about what you think.
